Susan Hinrichsen - IHSA

Sue Hinrichsen discusses her involvement with the Illinois High School Association through her experiences as an Assistant Director for the Illinois High School Association. Sue served as supervisor of state events such as golf, badminton, cross country, the Scholastic Bowl, softball, tennis, gymnastics, volleyball, bowling, and the State Academic Team. She discusses how the IHSA developed rules and by-laws relating to badminton and bowling, and talks about the challenges of changing state tournament final locations, the debate over the private school multiplier, and the addition of more class champions.
