Marlon Young - Tumultuous 2020

Marlon Young, pastor of Morning Glory Community Church in Peoria, Illinois, details his background and the experiences that led him to founding the church with his late wife, Kay, in the early 2000s. He outlines the variety of physical spaces the church occupied that led up to their current building. Young also describes key events in the church's history prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, including a significant growth in congregants. The COVID-19 pandemic was devastating, but Young describes the creativity involved that kept the church afloat and congregants engaged.
