John Standard has served as pastor at the Springfield Bible Church in Springfield, Illinois since his graduation from the Dallas Theological Seminary in 1983. Springfield Bible Church is an independent congregation not affiliated with a specific denomination. Church members believe that the Bible alone is the authoritative source for their faith. John talks at length about coming to Springfield Bible Church, its history and his theological views, which have generally stayed consistent throughout his life in ministry.
