Rachel Rubin - Tumultuous 2020

Dr. Rachel Rubin has served as the Senior Medical Officer of Cook County Department of Public Health since 2014. In April of 2020, she and her fellow Senior Medical Officer, Dr. Kiran Joshi, stepped in as Co-Leads of the public health department. Dr. Rubin describes her duties before the pandemic and how they evolved due to the pandemic. She details the ways the Cook County Department of Public Health worked to ease the pandemic's effects of Suburban Cook County. She closes by describing her personal experiences with the pandemic.
