Eduardo Rivera - Tumultuous 2020

Eduardo Rivera has worked at United Airlines since 1999 and at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic he was working as a ramp serviceman. He details his experience with a workplace injury and his time off in recovery from the end of 2019 to early summer of 2020. Due to his health issues, he was unable to help his wife with facilitating remote learning for their three children. However, to ease the burden, he became the family's contact with the world, being the designated grocery and other errand runner. When he returned to work, Rivera details the record lows for travel at O'Hare International Airport. Rivera also discusses his opinions on the pandemic and overall pandemic response from corporate America.
