Jacob Rayl - Tumultuous 2020

Jacob Rayl began his campaign for Bond County Board in January of 2020. He had decided to move back from college to his home in rural Bond County and continue his coursework online, while focusing on his campaign. The Illinois stay-at-home order went into effect shortly after he won the primary election. Throughout the interview, Rayl discusses the way he campaigned with the pandemic mitigations. He also discusses the challenges he faced with online school. Rayl details his start with Walmart and his position there as an online store associate, a position that became all the more relevant due to the pandemic.
