Lisa Mestinsek, owner and operator of Top Hat Creamery in Lincoln, Illinois, discusses her experiences as the owner of a small and relatively new ice cream business in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. She describes the role social media played in helping keep her business open as well as the support she received from the community. She also talked about her own experiences as a mother during the pandemic.
