Dave Fry - IHSA

Dave Fry discusses his 35 years with the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) through his experiences as an Assistant, Associate, and finally as the Executive Director. He discusses the IHSA's move from Chicago to Bloomington and moving the boys' state basketball championships from Champaign to Peoria. He also addressed the complex rulings on transfers, residency, and eligibility, the number of class championships for sport, football playoffs, expansion of girls sports following Title IX, growth of non sport activities, private-public school relationships, and much more.
