J. David Cross - Tumultuous 2020

Dr. J. David Cross, a Springfield based periodontist with a thriving practice, discusses his road to becoming a periodontist in a practice that includes micro-surgery. He talks in detail about the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on his practice. That included keeping his staff on a paid status via the Payroll Protection Program, and significant equipment and office upgrades during the nearly two months his office was closed in March to May 2020, with the associated expenses that implied. Dr. Cross also reviews the new protocols he put into place once the practice reopened.
