Carl "Bud" Moore - Rochester

Carl (Bud) Moore has been a resident of Rochester, Illinois since 1937 when his parents moved there when he was two years old. He shares numerous stories about 'old' Rochester, and about his own life, including his college years and his return to his home town following graduation from Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois in 1959. He spent the next forty years working at the A. E. Staley Company in Decatur, Illinois while he and his wife Peggy lived in Rochester. Bud worked as a food engineer and research scientist at Staley. He also took on the role as a Rochester historian.
