Julie Theisz - Tumultuous 2020

Julie Theisz, a school social worker at Jefferson Elementary in Harvard, Illinois, describes her many challenges of meeting the needs of students in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. She also describes the way the team at Jefferson Elementary continually worked together to support each other in whatever capacity necessary, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. She details the different ways she and the other school social worker supported students in the beginning of the pandemic and throughout.
