Evan Neilson - Tumultuous 2020

Evan Neilson, a junior history major at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), discusses how COVID-19 impacted University life from March 2020 through April 2021. He talks about the disruptions the pandemic caused when going from in-person classes to virtual classes, and his role as a Student Wellness Ambassador whose duties helped the University provide a safe in-person learning environment for students, faculty, and staff. Evan also discusses other modifications made for the 2020-21 school year, and the impact on his participation in the Illini Marching Band.
