Sandra Martell - Tumultuous 2020

Dr. Sandra Martell has served as the administrator of Winnebago County Health Department since 2014. Throughout the interview she explains how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted Winnebago County and the health department from the start in March of 2020 to the time of the interview, February of 2022. She describes how the health department created vaccination clinics and contact tracing, as well as how they maintained their regular operations and services. She closes with a discussion of the personal impact of the pandemic.
