Paul Hergenrother - Tumultuous 2020

Dr. Paul Hergenrother, a Research Scientist (Chemistry) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, discusses how a University team created, implemented, and applied SHIELD Illinois, a saliva based COVID-19 test, which allowed the University to be able to provide in-person classes during the 2020-2021 school year. Dr. Hergenrother also examines how going to remote learning impacted the University's Science facilities and classes.
