Bruce Firchau - IHSA

Bruce Firchau discusses his involvement as a high school basketball coach, spanning a career that lasted over forty years and at a variety of Illinois high schools. He discusses the sport's changing offensive and defensive strategies, major rule changes, state tournament play, and other challenges, including school funding and facility limitations. Bruce also shares his insights into the Illinois Coaches Basketball Association (ICBA) and the efforts to create and build an Illinois Basketball Museum.
