Beau Fretueg, superintendent for the Schuyler-Industry Community Unit School District #5, discusses how a rural west central school district dealt with the 2008 recession and how the Evidence Based School Funding Model has impacted the School District in a positive way. Fretueg also reviewed the school district's sources of revenue and the challenges faced by the district due to mandates and teacher shortages.
