Curtis Haug, Vice President and General Manager of the Kane County (Illinois) Cougars discusses how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted minor league baseball beginning in March 2020 and how the decision by Major League Baseball to contract the number of minor league teams impacted the baseball Cougars. In addition, Haug explores how the Cougars have dealt with the loss of gate revenues from September 2019 to May 2021, the opening day for the 2021 season.
