Meet at the ALPLM!
The conference facility at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is an ideal venue for clients hosting conferences, corporate meetings, seminars, educational workshops, and other events.
The Multi-Purpose Room offers state-of-the-art audio-visual features including a built-in video wall, a podium with microphone, and four additional wireless microphones that may be any combination of hand-held and lapel microphones. The venue offers video-conferencing and teleconferencing capabilities and provides for numerous set-up possibilities.
Use the venue as one large room accommodating 100 attendees in a classroom or banquet set-up or use the wall divider system to create two individual rooms (North and South). Note that the South Room contains the built-in audio/visual equipment, though we can set up needed equipment in the North Room.
With a rental of the Multi-Purpose Room, the venue just outside it, the Reception Gallery, is included complimentary for your use if needed.
Multi-Purpose Room Floor Plan
- $1,000 Full-Day or Evening
- Daytime: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Evening: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm (up to 4 hours)
- $500 Half-Day (Up to 4 daytime hours)
- Rental of half the Multi-Purpose Room (North or South Room): $500 per day
Discount opportunities are now offered on multiple venues rented for weekday, daytime Library events. With the first venue (highest rental charge) rented at full price, additional venues are offered at $100 off a full-day rental or $50 off a half-day rental.
- Theater: 250 guests
- Classroom: 100 guests
- Banquet: 100 guests
Interested in hosting an event at the Library over the weekend? A Weekend Event Charge applies in addition to the venue rental charge.
- Weekend Event Charge – Full Day: $500
- Weekend Event Charge – Half Day or Evening: $300
The additional charge would not apply if three or more venues are rented for a weekend daytime or evening Library event, or if there is a Museum event associated with the Library weekend event.

Between the Library and the Museum you can have space to both learn and explore Illinois' great history. Definitely recommend for corporate meetings and team trainings.
