Skating in Union Square Park

Skating is back in Union Square Park this winter! The ALPLM will offer skating in the park every weekend from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday from November 29, 2025 to February 15, 2026.  Special skating hours will also be offered on Wednesday evenings from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. during downtown Holiday Walks on December 3, 10, and 17, and from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on the following holidays: New Year's Eve (Dec 31); MLK Day (Jan 19), and President’s Day (Feb 16).  

FREE HOT CHOCOLATE will also be offered to skaters on the following dates:  Dec 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, and 31; Jan 19; and, Feb 16.

Just stop into historic Union Station to grab a pair of skates.  Skating will be offered free of charge, but a donation is suggested to help defray the cost of skate maintenance.
