The Stevenson Room

This NEW gallery-like space on the first floor of the Library features rich oak paneling and six artifact cases showcasing materials donated by the family of former Illinois Governor Adlai Stevenson. This interpretive, multi-purpose space offers a 65” interactive smart board for enhanced presentations and connectivity and may be converted to a conference- or theater-style configuration.

Rental Charge

$200 Full-Day or Evening
- Daytime: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (up to 8 hours of event time)
- Evening: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm (up to 4 hours of event time)
$100 Half-Day (Up to 4 daytime hours)

The use of an interactive smartboard can be added for an additional fee ($80/day or $40/half-day).

Capacities

Conference: 8 guests
Theater: 8 to 12 guests

Interested in hosting an event at the Library over the weekend? A Weekend Event Charge applies, in addition to the venue rental charge.

Weekend Events

Weekend Event Charge – Full Day $500
Weekend Event Charge – Half Day or Evening $300

The additional charge would not apply if three or more venues are rented for a weekend daytime or evening Library event, or if there is a Museum event associated with the Library weekend event.
