Coat Check

For events large or small, the ALPLM offers to provide a staffed coat check to assist your guests upon arriving and departing Museum evening events. This service is based on staffing availability at a rate of $40 per hour (per staff person).

Amplify your event at the ALPLM with our selection of audio/visual equipment and services. Choose a venue for a daytime meeting or conference at the Library with a built-in video wall or interactive smartboard. Our audio-visual technicians will provide and set up equipment in the Library venues that do not offer built-in equipment.

At the Museum, dazzle your guests with LED lighting and large projection-screen presentations hung from the ceiling. Our technicians will be there throughout your program to help make your evening event a success. All audio/visual equipment must be provided by the ALPLM except for a client’s laptop computer.

A/V Resource Guide


The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum has a parking garage available at the corner of Sixth and Madison Streets. Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Parking is currently complimentary. The garage may be used for facility rental events both during the day and, when pre-arranged, for evening events. Garage hours may extend until 30 minutes past their scheduled event end time for an additional charge.

Museum Admissions

Daytime rental clients always have the opportunity to explore the Museum. We offer rental clients the option to purchase Museum admissions for their guests at the group rate of $10 per person.

No time on the agenda? You may also choose to give your guests a Museum Admission Gift Certificate, which does not expire and may be used on a future visit.

Please contact Venue Rental staff by one week before your event to arrange for Museum admissions and we will have them for you on the day of your meeting or event. We will invoice you after the event for the Museum admissions.
