Lincoln's bench is a life-size reproduction of Colorado artist Mark Lundeen’s smaller piece, donated to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum by Siciliano Construction Company President Rick Lawrence. It depicts a relaxed Lincoln, sitting with his hat and several pieces of paper, including one inscribed with the final passage of his Second Inaugural Address, “With malice toward none…” Lawrence donated the piece in honor of the Siciliano Construction Company workers who built the museum and library.
