We will engage in open dialogue about the nature of Andrew Jackson’s legacy, identify what is relevant and strategize how to honestly tell the total Jackson story. This discussion will pull on documents, established curriculum models, and propose new classroom strategies for using historical figures to define eras and attitudes.
