ALPLM Readers Theater: The Lincoln's Marriage

Join our ALPLM actors for a special readers theater presentation that looks at the relationship between Abraham and Mary and focuses on their time in Springfield.

“The Lincoln’s Marriage” is a readers theater piece; a style of theater in which the actors present the script without costumes, scenery, or special lighting. Actors use only scripts and vocal expression to help the audience understand and follow the story.

These special reader theater presentations will take place in the museum plaza on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month of October. The readings are approximately 15 minutes in length and will begin at 11:00 a.m. and then again at 12:00 p.m.

These performances are free to attend and are included in the price of your regular museum admission.
