Freedom in Form: Special Exhibit Tour & Gallery Talk

December 14th, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

In conjunction with our new exhibit, “Freedom in Form: Richard Hunt,” you’re invited to join Ross Stanton Jordan, the curator of the Richard Hunt collections, and ALPLM exhibits director Lance Tawzer for a special tour of the exhibit and talk about Richard Hunt’s career and importance on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the ALPLM’s Illinois Gallery.

Ross Jordan is a curator interested in the confluence of American politics, visual culture, and artistic production. He’s also made himself a vital presence in Chicago’s art community curating various independent exhibitions in several of Chicago’s tenacious arts venues. Ross holds a Bachelors of Arts in Studio Arts from Connecticut College and dual Masters Degrees in Art History and Arts Administration and Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Ross’s essay, "A Needful Thing,” is included in ALPLM's exhibition catalogue for the Freedom in Form exhibition.

This special gallery talk with Ross Stanton Jordan and Lance Tawzer is included with your regular museum admission.
