History Happy Hour: Another Lincoln Lawyer

Stop by Anvil & Forge Brewing and Distilling after work on Wednesday, November 16 at 5:30pm to grab a drink and hear an engaging story from our historians during "History Happy Hour."

They had the same surname, and both practiced law and had connections to central Illinois. The similarities between Abraham Lincoln and Warren J. Lincoln, however, end there. The disturbing story of another lawyer named Lincoln will be shared by former editor of the Journal of Illinois History William B. Tubbs.

History Happy Hour is a partnership program between the Illinois State Museum and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
