Blind Date with a Document

October 15th - 15th

To celebrate Archives Month, join the ALPLM’s Education Team for "Blind Date with a Document*." This fun, hands-on educator workshop as we share tips and tricks to build engaging inquiries using documents. Then, working individually or with a team, you’ll uncover a surprise document and thoroughly examine and analyze it, before using it to build an inquiry with the help of our staff. You will leave with 6.0 CPDU credits and ready-to-use inquiries to share with your students.

NOTE: Laptops or tablets are required for this workshop. If you do not have access to a device, please let our education team know when you register. A one hour lunch, on your own, is included in the workshop.

*"Document" used broadly for alliterative advertising advantage; you may discover art, a photograph, or a museum object, from a wide range of topics, on your “date.”
