Stories of Survival: Primary Sources and Personal Narrative

What would you take with you? What would you leave? What is your story? Stories of Survival: Object. Image. Memory. explores the experiences of refugees through objects, photographs, and stories. In this workshop, educators will learn about the unique approach to storytelling presented in this exhibition and discover strategies to engage students around topics including 20th century genocides, refuge, identity, and belonging.

This event supplements the Stories of Survival: Object. Image. Memory. exhibit and is offered through a partnership with the Illinois Holocaust Museum. All participants who attend this free workshop will receive 4.0 CPDUs.
