History Happy Hour -- Invasion of the Body Snatchers: The Plot to Steal Abraham Lincoln's Body

March 23rd - 23rd

Stop by Anvil & Forge Brewing and Distilling after work on Wednesday, March 23 to grab a drink and hear an engaging story from our historians during "History Happy Hour"!

It was a comedy of errors! Incompetent robbers tried to steal Abraham
Lincoln’s body and bumbling officials almost let them get away with it. Learn about this dramatic story from Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum research historian, Jacob Friefeld, during the March edition of "History Happy Hour."

If you can't attend the "History Happy Hour" in-person, no worries! We'll stream the program live on the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum Facebook page.

History Happy Hour is a partnership program between the Illinois State Museum and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
