Lincoln’s Last Granddaughter

President Abraham Lincoln never met his three grandchildren. The youngest, Jessie Harlan Lincoln, lived an adventurous life and was married three times. Here, we catch of glimpse of her in her later years traveling through Europe via her 1930 passport and contributing to a Washington, D. C., animal rescue league—suggesting she inherited her grandfather’s love of animals.
