Special Performance of "Freedom in Form: Nine Vignettes for Richard Hunt

When you visit our latest exhibit, Freedom in Form: Richard Hunt, in the Illinois Gallery, you’ll hear an original soundtrack that was specially composed for the exhibit by ALPLM actor, Randy Erwin. 

The soundtrack is entitled, Freedom in Form: Nine Vignettes for Richard Hunt, and is performed by a quartet of musicians including Melissa Blankestyn (saxophone), Ann Collins (violin), Aaron Duncan (trumpet), and Sharon Lombard (cello).  

Museum visitors on the following dates and times will be receive a special experience, as the quartet will perform the soundtrack live in the Illinois Gallery:

• Saturday, March 15, 2025                  1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Monday, March 17, 2025                    10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
• Saturday, March 22, 2025                  11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Sunday, March 23, 2025                    1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Sunday, March 30, 2025                    1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Saturday, April 12, 2025                  11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Saturday, April 19, 2025                  11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (ALPLM’s 20^TH Anniversary)

These special live performances are included with your regular museum admission price.
