PD in Your PJs: “What Part am I to Act in this Great Drama?” Analyzing Women’s Roles in the Civil War

Join the ALPLM's Education Coordinator, Abigail Cline as she leads participants in an analysis of the ways women participated in the Civil War. During the session, examine primary source images and firsthand accounts from women, both Union and Confederate, to learn more about what life was like for women on the home front, the battlefield, and for those seeking liberation. Active participation required for this session; however, cameras may be left off.
